I’m Amaka, a British-Nigerian actor and voice artist based in London and Bristol.

I came to acting through photography, filmmaking and directing, which means I approach performance with a strong sense of story, subtext and sensitivity. My experience spans screen, stage, and voiceover, and I’m particularly drawn to characters caught between worlds, where tensions are high.

Recent screen work includes A Rose Is Not a Rose, a short film I co-wrote, exploring intimacy, cultural conflict and quiet rebellion. I also have a background in voiceover - my voice is versatile, warm and grounded.

Currently, I’m building my screen portfolio and looking to collaborate on bold, meaningful projects across film, voice and stage.
